Night at the Museum 2

Not too bad, pretty humourous, but not as good as the first movie.
It's not a show that you have to watch the first part, not that it's not linked to the first part, only the first few minutes of the show mentioned about Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) working at the museum as a security guard before & that he moved on to becoming a successful inventor.

Though Larry became rich & famous, he remembers his friends at the museum. So one night he decided to pay them a visit, only to find them all packed into boxes, all ready to be shipped to the country's National Museum - only a handful of displays would be left in the old site, along with the tablet that brings them all to life. Unfortunately, Dexter (the monkey) smuggled the tablet to the National Museum (which means that all the exhibits at the National Museum would come to life at night!). So when Larry found out about this, he flew straight to New York & sneaked into the National Museum to retrieve the tablet with the help of his son.

And so the adventure begins when one Egyptian Prince wants to get the tablet for himself so that he can take over the world.

As most stories have happy endings, the Egyptian Prince was destroyed & Larry brought all the exhibits back to the old museum & took back his job as the security guard there. He brought in the concept of opening the museum at night when all the exhibits come to live & allowing the exhibits to interact with the visitors, bringing more crowds & revenue.
Things change, so do we. We grow up.
