I've made a proud decision to be a permanent donator to the Singapore Cancer Society.Although it's not a big amount but if everyone of us chip in a little, the amount can snowball to a significant sum which can really help the cancer patients in Singapore.

I lost my grandmother to lung cancer, my uncle to liver cancer, & my grandfather is diagnosed with prostate cancer.I'm not sure if cancer is hereditary, but if it is, then that's probably what I could be dying of...Come on, let's be realistic.. Cancer is the number 2 killer right now, if not the number 1 killer. Even though we discover it in the early stages, it still gonna cost a bomb to treat. If you are the patient with financial difficulties, you would also hope that people would contribute to the society to help you right? Cancer is not a "rich man's" disease (like what they used to call diabetes), it can happen to anyone of us. Especially since the average person's diet consists of high calories, cholesterol, saturated fats etc etc.. So who knows I might need to apply for financial aid with the Singapore Cancer Society in a couple of years, right? Therefore, I should start contributing to them now.
