The entire Team B went for our annual CNY Lou Hei dinner at Spring Court Restaurant along Upper Cross Street. The dinner had one thing in common with typical wedding banquets - they all start late, cos the guests only arrive around 8pm.

Food was not bad, considering the price of $400plus per table:

- Shark's fin soup had enough flavour & not too thick or diluted

- Fish was fresh & didn't have any fishy smell

- Prawns were fresh (cos they were live), but abit overcooked

- Vegetables were fresh & abalone was tender

- Noodles had great flavour, not too salty

I was quite disappointed with the dessert though, so the dinner ended not too satisfying for me - the Or Ni wasn't well done, taste was there, not too sweet for my liking, but the yam paste wasn't smooth enough. You could still feel the little lumps of yam.

Overall, the dinner was worth the money. So if you are looking for a Chinese restaurant that is not too costly, I think you can consider Spring Court.
