My New Year Resolutions for 2009
As tradition has it, we all set our New Year Resolutions on 31 Dec of every year, then we list them out.. And we forget about our resolutions after a night of boozing.. HahaSo, in order to remind myself to fulfil my resolutions for 2009, I will list them out here.People around me, please help to constantly remind me of my resolutions.. heheFeli's New Year Resolutions (2009):1) Learn a new skill
I've signed up for Japanese Language classes, commencing on 18 Jan 09.2) Do more sports & run more marathonsOther than my usual GE Women's 10km run, I'll sign up for more, whether or not there is anyone joining with me. 3) Do charity / volunteer workI've decided to help out at SPCA, anyone interested to join me? The reason I've chosen SPCA is partly cos I'm inspired by a Hong Kong drama (When a Dog loves a Cat), partly cos I wanna have a dog but I wanna make sure I have the commitment & responsibility to take care of it.4) Lose 2 kgsOk, I'm being realistic here. 2kgs may be very little for the whole year but since I'm already of a healthy BMI, I don't really need to lose that much. I just wanna have a flatter tummy, that's all.5) Travel to 2 countriesI'm going to Taiwan in May (Doreen, don't forget our date).6) Get a long-term investmentSome of my friends know what I mean, so I'm not gonna explain. Haha..7) Start a blogYup, and here it is...Setting resolutions are good, but they have to be realistic. Don't set resolutions like "reading 26 novels within the year" or "avoid eating fast food" - you know will not be able to achieve these.Hope all of you who have set your resolutions will be able to fulfil them..
Things change, so do we. We grow up.
