6RB Reunion Dinner on 16 Jan 09

It's another yearly tradition for the 6 of us to meet up just before Chinese New Year (CNY) for a dinner (this year's being our 7th reunion dinner together). This year's dinner was organised by Ah Ber - dinner at Chin Huat Steamboat, opposite Novena Church. Unfortunately I got to know from my colleague that the food there isn't very nice, so we changed our plans & had dinner at a Japanese restaurant located inside Revenue House.

Over the years, some things just never change.. Eliza, YTK, Dajie & myself were almost going to faint of hungry while waiting for Ah Ber & HRJJ, so we decided to start eating first. Starting without them was a good decision cos they only arrived after 7pm!

YTK received a call from Ah Ber, only to realise that Ah Ber decided to take a bus!! Dajie giving her irritated expression as usual.. Ok it must the hunger.. or it's the hormonal changes in her that are caused by p--g---cy? Bleah!

Yeeks! It's not Hungry Ghost Festival yet lei... Hahaha..

Topic of the night (at least until I left) was about the Legendary Characters during our Poly days. There was Haolian, Pink Mei, Ghost, Bao Long & list goes on.. We were really fond of coming up with nicknames for others, & talking about our poly days brought back lots of fun & laughter. Unfortunately for Ah Ber, who had minimal recollection of her poly life, started to question whether she even attended poly!

The award for Most Memorable Lecturer (for bad memories) went to the lecturer who uses the entire cake of purple eyeshadow on her eyes.

The award for Favourite Lecturer goes to Victor Joe, Alice Tang & a few more.

Happy Lunar New Year to 6RB & till we meet again.. which happens to be tonight @ Gotham Penthouse! (except Dajie).
